FROM THE TARGET BOOK PUBLISHER

AD40 (D-Levine-OPEN SEAT): I have received calls and e-mails making inquiries about whether or not the California Target Book published any document reporting about a conversation between Congressman Howard Berman and Asm. Lloyd Levine regarding “an alleged deal” concerning the June Primary Election,” then going on to predict that Stuart Waldman would be the likely Democratic Primary winner in that race.

The California Target Book has published three items on the race in AD40.  First, the analysis that appears in your Target Book, which mentions nothing about any “deal.”  Go read it.  And since that Edition was printed, AD40 is mention in only two Hot Sheets, one dated January 7 and another on  January 24, again no mention of any “deal.” You can read the Hot Sheets by going to www.CaliforniaTargetBook.com and double clicking the box: Hot Sheets.

The Editors of the California Target Book believe this race to be a highly competitive four-candidate Primary race, WITH NO CLEAR FRONTRUNNER, as you will read when you receive your new updated edition of the Target Book next week.
